How to reach New Valley

By plane

The Petroleum Air Services (link to https://www.pas.com.eg/) provides commercial flights along the route Cairo-Kharga twice per week (Sunday and Thursday). The  ticket price is 900 EGP (one way only). The journey takes about 1 hour.

By car*

From Cairo (about 583 km):

Follow Aswan - Giza/Faiyum Desert Rd (about 20.5 km), then Aswan - Giza/Giza - Luxor Rd (about 335 km) and finally Kharga - Asyuit Rd/Road 60M until Kharga (about 199 km). 

The journey takes about 8 hours.

*The route includes the payment of tolls. 

By bus

Cairo-Kharga route

• Express Valley Company
  from Cairo passing by Assiut, Kharga and then Dakhla.
  

  You can book the ticket from: El Sayeda Zeinab - El Mawardy Mall - Below El Sayeda Zeinab Metro Station - Express Valley company office.

• Upper Egypt transportation & tourism Company
  from Cairo to Kharga.
  You can book the ticket from: El Torgoman station.
• El-Assema Company
  from Cairo to Kharga
  You can book the ticket from: El-Kollaly

The ticket price  is 190 EGP (one way only). The journey takes about 10 hours. 

By train
