Published on Wed, Nov 20, 2019

The CISS Business Incubator Management and Marketing Training Course, foreseen in the framework of the project “Strengthening business environment for the eco-touristic development of New Valley Governorate”, has finished. During the training course trainees improved their competences about business and financial management, marketing and branding, computer literacy, communication and methodology, and business English. Trainees’ improvement and performance were continuously evaluated during the course. Now the time for the trainees to prove the competences they gained has come and trainees’ skills and knowledge were further evaluated through the submission of their final project work and oral presentation. Trainees were assigned the elaboration of a business plan proposing new start-up activities and the preparation of an oral presentation regarding a topic of the training course. Both tasks required knowledge, mastery and correct application of the whole topics addressed during the course.

On the 19th and 20th of November 2019 the trainees discussed their project work and oral presentation in front of the Evaluation Committee, who evaluated their performance. Data regarding the evaluation of the project works and oral presentations will be used, together with the data regarding the performances of the trainees during the whole course, to select the most successful participants of the course as trainers and tutors for the upcoming CISS Business Training Program for New Valley Entrepreneurs. The next course will target especially women and young people in New Valley who want to start and/or improve their business in specific sectors such as handicraft activities, organic farming and ecotourism services and it will be held at the premises of the Micro-Small Enterprises Incubator of Kharga Oasis
