The CISS Business Incubator Management and Marketing Training Course has started!
The project “Strengthening business environment for the eco-touristic development of New Valley Governorate” supports business, marketing and selling activities in New Valley Governorate through numerous activities, among which there is also the implementation of vocational training courses.
On the 27th of April 2019 the CISS Business Incubator Management and Marketing Training Course started at the premises of the Handicraft Center of Kharga Oasis (address: Gamal Abdel Nasser Street next to Sadat secondary school, Kharga Oasis, New Valley Governorate).
The participants to the course are 11 women and young people interested in entrepreneurial skills and business competences. At the end of the training course the most successful trainees will be chosen to become trainers and tutors of the next CISS training course will be held at the premises of the Micro-Small Enterprises Incubator.
The modules of the CISS Business Incubator Management and Marketing Training Course are:
- Business English
- Computer Literacy
- Communication and Methodology
- Marketing and Branding
- Business and Financial Management
- Business Incubator Management
Trainees will attend the training course engaging in daily theoretical and practical activities and their performance will be continuously evaluated by their trainers. After the training modules the trainees will to work on the submission of their final project work and oral presentation. The project work will consist of the elaboration of a business plan proposing new start-up activities and it will require to apply the knowledge gained during the training course, while the oral presentation will require communication skills as well as knowledge and mastery of the topics addressed during the course. The project work and oral presentation will be an integrated part of the overall evaluation process of the trainees as a further element in support to the decision to select them as tutor or trainer for the next CISS training course.
The next CISS training course will target especially women and young people in New Valley who want to start and/or improve their business in specific sectors such as handicraft activities, organic farming and ecotourism services.
